This is largely based on route 1(the fact that its a single path otherwise surrounded by trees). It is my first time using tiled and consists of 11 layers(well it should be ~6 since i was too lazy to edit the layers). Constructive criticism is appreciated along with any suggestions on which layer to put flowers/hedge.I am currently still editing the map.

Darkness follows wherever you may hide. Night follows wherever darkness ventures.Beware for I follow regardless.

really nice i liked how you managed the path of the route but i can see some errors also trees have alot of space you can pass through them but as you mentioned on discord trees were hard infact they are actually so id say well try for first map :)

Removing some of the tree clutter and adding more detail with (logs, flowers etc) would do you good.
Maybe a little cottage around somewhere could blend in as well. It's not bad for a first map, and I like the idea.
It could use more grass, as well. Do remember that most maps are capped off with cliffs or trees, so it feels a little bit weird when the borders are so open.

Very nice for your first map. I agree with Butch though, some flowers or perhaps a building may add more depth and realism.
